Liz Ortega was just a kid from the barrios of Long Beach who had a vision. Her vision was to be able to tell the world of her musical findings. To alert society about the corporate garbage cluttering the young and simple minds of today -- or yesterday, in her case. With that extraordinary vision and impeccable knowledge of cheesy classic rock music, she set her eyes onto the punk/rock n roll scene in 1998. Since then, she has worked with many LA and NY based fan zines/magazines and has grown to be as insignificant to the music scene today as she was then. The kids just don't listen. Liz has saturated the pages of many LA and NY based magazines with her brutally honest and humorous insight on bands such as; Slaughter and the Dogs, Channel 3, The Templars, Face to Face, The Briefs, Hot Hot Heat, Flogging Molly, The Adolescents, Manic Hispanic, Texas Terri & the Stiff Ones, Electric Frankenstein, The Dragons, Bonecrusher, The Reverend Horton Heat, Tiger Army, Roddy Radiation of Skabilly Rebel and The Specials, The NY Doll's Sylvain Sylvain, and many many more.
