 I'm a 23 year old pure Jersey Girl, born & raised, it doesn't get any better than that. I spend most of my time sewing and knitting and looking at the girlies in the hot rod magazines my fiance and I collect. On weekends I can be found in one of the various flea markets/dirt malls around the ever so charming garden state. I'm on a personal quest to find a velvet painting of Jesus with Elvis. I found one online once, but it didn't meet up to my standards. I also try to spend as much time as I can at the Asbury Lanes. If you ever see me there, be sure to say hello as I love meeting new people. I'm starting to work on designs for vintage inspired clothing (i've been sewing/altering/designing clothing for myself for the past 10 years), whether they end up one day being available to the public or remain solely in my own personal collection is fine by me. I design tattoos (although mostly for myself and friends) and am starting to get into drawing more traditional and old school style tattoos. I have a deep seeded love for hot rods (no trailer queens!), motorcycles (choppers/bobbers), old horror movies and literature, most things from the 40s/50s (my mom always told me I was born in the wrong time period) and of course Bettie Page. I got started in pin-up modeling about a year and a half ago. When I was younger, I was drawn into the whole pin-up scene by a bunch of pictures I found in my dad's office. I was totally entranced by the confidence these women had and the look of mischeif in their eyes. Later on in life, I found images of the lovely Dita Von Teese and Jami Deadly which rekindled my interest in the art form. I decided from that point on to pursue pin-up modeling. Although my pin-up portfolio is still in its infancy stage, I have the lovely Viva Van Story to thank for giving it a good running start |
